Bohemian skirt?

Gray sweater: Discovery Clothing. Shirt: Kohl's. Skirt: F21.

I really need to buy more solid skirts for mixing and matching. While I really like this skirt for the Bohemian quality of it at least to me, the skirt only works with a solid top and within a few shades of red, orange and white.

I found in Half Price Books store the original Color Me Beautiful book by Carole Jackson. I know the book was published in the 80s. It did make color sense to me. I learned I need to stop wearing black.  I never really wore that much black unless I count black pants. No, little black dress can be found in my closet and now I know why.

I started trying to wear colors that are supposed to look amazing on me last week. Okay, let's tone that down. The colors will work for me and not against me. If I keep this up, it will take time to weed out the wrong colors in my closet.  Why would I want to wear a certain color that doesn't make me look great?
