I like clothing longevity. It's not great when an article of
clothing after six months or less no longer looks unwearable. What I learned over the past
year was to pick out either a blend of natural and synthetic fibers with a
higher content of natural fibers or natural fibers. Natural fibers are cotton, wool,
linen, etc. Synthetic fibers are polyester, spandex, rayon, etc.
Synthetic fibers pill after a couple of months or year if your lucky
(I'm not lucky.). Then pilling just gets so bad that it's time to retire
that favorite shirt or else. I have had success with some synthetic fabrics such as polyester.
This knowledge has had me searching for the tags and looking carefully at the fabrics used to make clothes. I know I'm late, but I do like the color mustard now.
The ysa conference was so fun! You should go!!
