Lace Dress: DEB. Scarf: H&M
I didn't see scarves being trendy where I live until 2009.  It took me until last fall to wear a scarf and I still only wore a scarf  less than a handful of times.  I have been seeing lace for at least two or three seasons, but this dress is my first lace item.  I still don't know if I love the dress or not, but right now I like the dress. It is always great not to look like a walking trend,so I hope I don't.  That trend could just walk right out of here and never come back.

Last night, I was with some friends eating at a restaurant inside of a mall.  I have been contemplating purchasing colored pants, but I have not yet.  I tried on a pair while I waited for my friends to arrive.  Then I put the pants back because I didn't know if I wanted to spend thirty dollars on them and I was running out of time.  The mall closed right when I got of the restaurant. Long story short, I am still contemplating the color pant trend.

  1. I really like that dress and the pop of color from the scarf is great! And I too have considered the pant trend many times but have yet to buy.

    1. I am thinking I might just go buy the colored pants. If the colored pants go out of style, the pants will be my cleaning/painting pants.

  2. I love lace. I think your dress is really pretty. Scarves are new for me, too, but I've really started to love them. Just adding a scarf seems to make any outfit look so much more put together.

  3. To be honest, I'm kind of terrified of scarves. Good for you for jumping on board that one and not looking like a flight attendant!
